Little Growers APRIL 2026 Kids Gardening & Nature Play monthly sessions (First Tues of month)

Enjoy 1-hour with your little ones with a fabulous gardening/nature/cooking SUPER FUN session in a natural garden setting at Barkly Square, during our monthly Little Growers hosted by us, Food Is Free Inc. Ticket includes shared fruit platter morning tea. SPECIAL GUEST IS JASMINE WALTON FROM SUNNYBANK FARM.

Hosted by Food Is Free Inc. and held monthly on first Tues enjoy 1-hr kids gardening/nature-play for ages up to 5 years – homeschoolers very welcome!

Ticket includes shared fruit platter morning tea.

We have been delivering these super popular kids session for over 8 years now, and they are aimed to inspire the joy of growing things at home, and provide a relaxed environment for your children to interact and socialise with others.

Have fun with others, play, cook, and learn! Story telling, sing songs, explore nature & cooking, learn about growing, and so much more! We introduce some new activities each session, and enjoy the favourites together each month.

Event will be held at Barkly Square (including indoors space option for bad weather)

25 – 39 Barkly St, Ballarat East |Wadawurrung

Every first Tues of the month from 9.30am – 10.30am.

Tickets are limited number to keep the group small, so get in quickly! For ages up to 5 years old.

ALL CHILDREN MUST HAVE A TICKET TO ATTEND…PARENTS/CARERS DON’T NEED TICKETS + GET FREE ENTRY.

A fabulous cafe is open onsite for adults to purchase a takeaway coffee/tea etc!
