Food Is Free Inc. respectfully acknowledges the Wadawurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung people – traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work.
We have VERY VERY LIMITED SPOTS – FOUR ONLY – for this Sunday 24 April at 12.30pm for approx. 1.5 hours to join the Food Is Free Inc. volunteers and our bee mentor Peter The Polish Beekeeper, to witness our annual bee hives pack-down/extraction of honey.
Be part of a very small group to witness a very special experience – discovering the world underneath a bee hive lid. Peter will explain what the bees are doing in the hive, you’ll see honey being extracted from the frames, learn what happens to bees over winter, and so much more during this ‘Winter Packdown’ experience. Full PPE beehive suit/hat/gloves provided for the adult attendees to loan during the workshop. Instructions including where to go (in Brown Hill) provided once your ticket is purchased.
DON’T MISS THIS AMAZING OFFER TO SEE A BEEHIVE IN ACTION & LEARN ABOUT THE FAB WORLD OF BEES!!
