Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop with The Hidden Orchard & Food Is Free Inc.

Got fruit trees but unsure how to prune them? Come along and learn about fruit tree pruning with Pat from The Hidden Orchard.

Covering all facets of basic fruit tree pruning including, reasons for pruning; equipment and care of; getting rid of the dead stuff; pruning for desired shape and height, PLUS watch a hands-on demonstration using the Food Is Free Laneway fruit trees. Note: these are dwarf fruit in pots.

There will also be a chat from BenĀ about Qld Fruit Fly in the district during our valuable Q + A time at the end for all your burning questions. And a visit to Food Is Free Green Space over the road from the Laneway to inspect the 20+ fruit trees there.

Improve your knowledge and confidence, plus meet fellow fruit tree owners in the Ballarat community, in the beautiful surrounds of Food Is Free Laneway.

This event will be hosted with full COVID protocols in place to keep our community safe.
